Connect Trophy to your AI tools

Add both servers to your MCP client for the best results: docs for context, account for action.

Trophy Docs MCP

Read-only access to live Trophy documentation and API reference. Your agent can search and read pages on demand, like an always up-to-date skill. No Trophy account required.

Trophy Account MCP

Lets your agent read and manage gamification configuration in your Trophy account: metrics, achievements, streaks, points, leaderboards and settings.

Why use MCP

Desribe your app. Trophy does the rest.

Ask your agent for a streak, an XP system or a weekly leaderboard. It reads the live docs, configures your account and wires up your code.

Always accurate.
The agent works from live Trophy docs and API reference rather than stale training data.
No dashboard clicking.
Create metrics, achievements, streaks, points and leaderboards straight from chat.
Works with your tools.
Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, VS Code and any MCP client.

I'll configure the streak and leaderboard in your staging environment:

  1. Metric - lessons-completed per lesson
  2. Streak - daily, driven by lessons-completed
  3. Leaderboard - weekly, ranked by lessons-completed

write_metrics({ name: 'Lessons Completed', key: 'lessons-completed' })

update_streak_settings({ metricKey: 'lessons-completed', frequency: 'daily' })

write_leaderboards({ name: 'Weekly learners', runUnit: 'day', runInterval: 7 })

Streak and leaderboard are live in staging. Want me to wire up the SDK calls in your backend?

claude mcp add --transport http "Trophy Account" https://mcp.trophy.so/mcp

# Any other MCP client: add two remote HTTP servers
#   Trophy Docs    -> https://docs.trophy.so/mcp

Which AI tools work with Trophy MCP?
Any MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers, including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and VS Code.
Do I need a Trophy account?
The Docs MCP server needs no account. The Account MCP server requires a Trophy account and signs in with OAuth, so no API keys are needed. Create an account to get started.
Is it safe to give an AI tool access to my account?
Access is scoped to the organization you authorize, can target a specific environment, and AI tools cannot delete configuration. See the Account MCP docs.
Does it cost extra?
No. Both MCP servers are available on all Trophy accounts, including the free plan, at no additional cost.
Should I install both servers?
Yes, for best results. Use the Docs server for context and the Account server for action. See the best practice guide.
