Charlie Hopkins-BrinicombeWe've had a busy month launching new features and quality of life improvements.

- π€ AI docs assistant
Let's get into it...
πͺ Webhooks
Webhooks allow your system to listen for events that occur in Trophy.

You can listen for events like:
achievement.completedstreak.extendedleaderboard.finished- and many more...
This lets you connect custom integrations to Trophy to support a wide range of use cases including:
- Triggering custom emails or push notifications
- Rewarding users with gift cards
- Automated data warehousing
- Integration with Zapier, Make or similar
π₯ Leaderboard Breakdowns
Traditionally, leaderboards with lots of participants fail to engage users beyond the top 1%, and have a negative impact on users in the bottom half, particularly new users.
A much more engaging way to create a leaderboard feature is to breakdown users into smaller, more socially-connected groups.
Now, leaderboard breakdowns make this possible through custom user attributes.
Create a custom user attribute for anything like:
- Geographical location
- School or institution
- Organisation
- Literally anything else...
Then link this attribute to a leaderboard and Trophy will automatically manage all leaderboard breakdowns for you.
For example if you create a leaderboard that breaks down by the "City" attribute, Trophy will manage a separate set of rankings for each city, with each user only seeing the rankings for their city.

π€ AI Docs Assistant
You can now ask the docs a question and get an answer without reading through every page yourself.

Just hit β I or use the new Ask AI button in the nav bar to start chatting with the assistant.
Try asking it "What can I do with webhooks?".
You can also ask it to explain any code snippet you see in the docs:

Plus, you can now directly open any page in the docs in your favorite AI tool:

Coming Soon
Here's a few ideas we have for how we can make Trophy more powerful...
- π More achievement types
More flexible achievements logic to support use cases like "do X, Y times in Z days". - β‘ Points boosts
Temporarily modify points logic around key events with no code e.g. "2X points weekend". - π Points levels
Create discrete levels in any points system and reward users for levelling up. - π₯Aggregated leaderboards
Create leaderboards that create competition between groups of users like "London vs New York" or "Class A" vs "Class B". - π₯ Streak vacation mode
Allow users to pause their streak while away. - πββοΈ Challenges
Tools for running time-limited, personalized challenges that every user can take part in.
